Sicily
As a travel agent I have been in many, many countries but Italy is the most beautiful of all that I have seen.
Starting from the top with its lakes, Assisi, Perugia, Pisa, small villages, mountains, Venice with its canals, Florence with the beautiful views, Ponte Vecchia, The David, so many antique villages, Rome and the 7 hills, Trastevere, Sorrento, AMALFI ,POSITANO , Capri, Trulli homes, and Matera are most of the reasons I love Italy. Need I say anymore, no matter how many times we go there is always something new to see. Oh, I forgot Sicily and its beautiful people, landscapes and the bluest sea you will ever see.
Thanks for the chance to talk about my beloved Italy.
Maria's reply: Thank you Barbara. You mention many beautiful places. That's the best thing about Italy - so much of it is wonderful and yet it is all so very different.
On another note, Piedmont and Sardinia are two other lovely regions you really must visit if you haven't done so already.
Sardinia has some of the loveliest beaches in all of Europe and it is so very unique in so many ways. The people too are very different from anywhere else in Italy.
Piedmont, on the other hand, has the best food in Italy, spectacular mountains, great cities and towns like Turin and Alba plus the Langhe which is without any doubt the loveliest wine region I have ever been to.
Comments for Amalfi, Assisi, Positano, Capri, Trulli homes
